The Alcott Family
In this week's post, I want to hear your thoughts about the Alcott family, specifically Bronson, Abby, and Louisa. Please write three sentences about one of them, telling me a bit about that person, his or her personality, and your opinion about his or her character. Please use your best grammar and spelling. The assignment is due on Wednesday, September 18.

Louisa is very outgoing and kind. She cares a lot about her mother and tries to help her. She is a great poet and actress, and she has a great imagination.
ReplyDeleteI think that Bronson Alcott loved his ideas more than his family. My opinion is that he was wrong about how to treat animals. I mean, it's okay to not have meat, even though God said that animals are on earth for our use, but not milking a cow or shearing a lamb? It helps both of the when you do those things.
ReplyDeleteI'm writing about Bronson Alcott because he is a very weird person. He does not like to eat anything that was killed because he doesn't killing animals. I think they should make Bronson Alcott better in the things he does.

ReplyDeleteBronson Alcott is a man who thinks up a lot of ideas. He is a very smart man, who is a traveler. He does not really make a lot of money but he is very nice.
ReplyDeleteAbby Alcott has a kind heart and is willing to give her time to help people needier than themselves. She provides for her family and is kind even though these hard times. She had the kindest heart of anyone I have met, read about, or heard of.

ReplyDeleteLouisa is very adventurous. She likes being outside and putting on plays with her three sisters. Every day she writes in her journal about what happened that day. Louisa also really likes writing stories.

ReplyDeleteBronson's "ideals" have nearly ripped the alcotts apart that's right nearly demolished the family. I completely disagree with him.(subtract slavery from that equation) I mean he CONSTANTLY is somewhere else!

ReplyDeleteBronson Alcott is putting his ideas before his family.
Bronson Alcott said that eating meat was wrong. Now not eating meat is ok but not sheering sheep or milking cows is not because if the wool on the sheep is to long it will cover its nose and it will die from suffocation. If you don't milk a cow its udder will burst and it will die from that. Scratch that other post.
Luisa is a kind person and a good righter. She is also restless. She is kind because her and her family help slaves. She is a good righter because she makes a lot of mony from her books and she does not give up.

ReplyDeleteMy opinion about the Alcotts is that you can't depend on them (mostly Bronson). I think Louisa is very boy like and some people don't like it. Abby Alcott, I think is a sweet caring lady. Bronson just needs to find a good job that pays well.

ReplyDeleteBronson always seemed sort of stressed out about things. He never really knew what decisions to make, but he just quickly decided on something for the family's sake. Like how they've had like 50 different houses so far. But I guess he seems nice.
He seems pretty friendly.
He acts kinda stressed or worried.
He isn't very trustable I guess.
