Buddy Biographies
Now that we have begun our Buddy Biographies Unit, I'd like you to share a little about your person. As you read, I hope you are learning some interesting facts about him or her. This week, please share one of those interesting facts in a comment. As always, use good mechanics. The comment is due on Friday.

I think that if the person I and my partner are doing if he was egecated then he wouldn't have enouf free time to think about every thing
ReplyDeleteI think two things about George Washington. Here is, one he and his younger brothers and sisters wound go by the river and watch people go by. Here is the other, he would be able to dance, read, and write. There is one thing that he got bad grades on, spelling. He would make a zero on every spelling test. That's all I have
ReplyDeleteMary Todd Lincoln has a beautiful horse named snowball. Snowball is her good companion, her horse is exactly like her, beautiful with a tomboy spirit! She has a love of flowers. She can spot any wonderful flower in her village!
ReplyDeleteThis is what I have read about Buffalo Bill. This is the first thing I know about him, his dad was a goods trader with the Wilson, Kansas. He hunts with his father for food. He also hunts down people that stell thier goods. This all that I know right now about Buffalo Bill.

ReplyDeleteI am reading about Laura Ingalls Wilder. I learned that Laura Wilder had two sisters. Their names were Mary and Carrie. I also learned that she had Scarlett Fever when she was a child.
ReplyDeleteThe person I'm reading about is George Washington, and I learned that his brothers and sister followed him a lot of places. I also learned that George Washington loved to watch people make things.

ReplyDeleteThe person im reading about is Annie Oakly.I learned that back in there days women werent allowed to shoot a gun or go to a gun shoot. And that she was only seven years old when she learned how to polish a gun.
ReplyDeleteMy person Susan B. Anthony. I learned that she had two sisters. They were, Hannah and Guelma. Guelma is the oldest, Hannah is the youngest, and Susan is the middle child.

ReplyDeleteThe person that I am reading about is Rosa Parks. I learned that she studyed the Bible alot ,and rembered lots of Bible verses she would use these if something bad was happening or she was bored.That is all I know for now about Rosa Parks.
ReplyDeleteI am reading about Laura Ingalls Wilder. One interesting thing so far in my book is that when Laura was a little girl, she was traveling with her family,& they all came down with scarlet fever. But she recovered the worst out of her family. She was week and was bedridden for quite some time. But then she was fine and back to normal!

ReplyDeleteMy character is Mary Todd Lincoln. I learned that she has a white horse named Snowball. She has 6 brothers and sisters. In one point of her life everyone in her family had the measles except her. Her mother died when she was 6, and she LOVES flowers.
ReplyDeleteI am reading Paul Revere first he got caught by a sailor and second he got caught by peddler. Now his best friend has gone missing for a year.
ReplyDeleteMy character is Sojourner Truth. An instristing fact about her is that somehow she was always getting blamed for somthing. Another fact about her is that my partner and I are only on pg.60 and she's already had four owners.

ReplyDeleteMy character is Teddy Roosevelt. Reading my book I learned that when he was a little boy his father got him a pony and he got thrown off it trying to get on.

I'm reading about Dr. Seuss. He started out as a person with a big imagination. Dr. Seuss is originally German. I learned that he is not just a person who writes children books but also that he is a really cool guy.

ReplyDeleteMy character is Helen Keller.She is 6 years old.She is blind,deaf,and dumb.She learns to spell words even though it is hard for her.Helen knew how to shut the door and lock it with a key.One time she locked her mother in the pantry and another she locked Ms.Sullivan in a closet.Helen went to live with Ms.Sullivan for 2 weeks to see if she could teach her anything.They hope Helen will learn to become a very smart little girl

ReplyDeleteI am reading Walt Disney.It is a really good book.It talks about how they made the Walt Disney movies. It's really cool.
ReplyDeleteMy book is Helen Keller. Helen is 6 years old. Helen also knows how to lock the door with a key! In the story Helen is blind,deaf,and dumb. Also, in the story Helen is being teached by Ms.Sullivan ( a young lady!)Everyone hopes Helen will become a very smart little girl!
ReplyDeleteAbe Lincoln grandfather died of an Indian gun-shot! Suddenly a Indian captured Abe Lincoln. Then Abe Lincoln oldest brother shot the Indian down. He was saved. But grandfather was dead.
ReplyDeleteMy person is Dr. Seuss. When he was a 10 year old his dad owned a brewery. One day he heard his dad and uncle talking about how the women in they're town are running a temperance against alcohol. And if they can make it a law that it is against the law to drink beer and wine than Teds(Dr. Seuss) dad will be out of business and he won't have a job any more.

ReplyDeleteI read the book Crazy Horse. Everybody called Crazy Horse Curly and he could use a bow and arrow when he was six years old.
ReplyDeleteJIm Thorpe got his name from his Grandfather Thrope came from Ireland, an island across the sea. His Grandfarther was a frenchman from a land across the sea. Jimmy Thrope Idian name was Wa-tho-kia-kiak.Which means Bright Path.
ReplyDeleteMy person is Amelia Earhart. People normally called her"Millie" and she didnt think it was fair that boys got to do everything,and run around in shorts, when girls were expected to be all proper and not do any sports or anything.

ReplyDeleteI have Albert Einstein. Here's my fun fact: One day when the whole family was outside, Gurtrude, their cat, and Laura, their parrot, were alone. When Mrs. Einstein came in, she found Laura's cage on the floor, open, with feathers scattered everywhere. On the ground lay Gurtrude, fat as a pig. Later that night, Albert found Laura alive in his bedroom. Soon, the family got rid of Gurtrude and gave it to a neighbor who turned out to be the rightful owner.

My person is Annie Oakly, So far I've learned that Woman used to not be able to go to a gun shoot or shoot and gun. I also learned that Annie's mother had six children Annie, Hulda, Elizabeth, Johnny, Lyda, and Sarah Ellen.

ReplyDeleteThe person that Craig and I are reading about is Martin Luther King or MLK. My interesting fact about him is that he was born in a hospital, and back then it was rare for African Americans to give birth in hospitals. Most of the time they were just born at home.

ReplyDeleteI am reading about Jackie Robinson. He is good at sports. He played football,tennis,basketball,track,ping pong,and baseball.but what you do not know is that his bother Mack got second place in the Olympics and then he was a street sweeper.
